Can imagine the confusion going on your head about what is the best way to follow to be healthy – Exercise or Healthy Diet. Do not worry I will not add more to your confusion but rather give clarity.

It is very important to understand that why do we become obese, unhealthy? We become so when the calorie intake in much more than the calorie burnt. When the calorie burnt is less, then that gets deposited as fat in our body thus leading to many lifestyle diseases.

What does healthy diet do for you?

It is said that the food you eat can either be the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.

Your food choices have more impact on your body than your fitness regime. Even if you do not exercise, you can easily change your body's composition by eating healthy and timely. The best way to stay healthy is to limit your daily calorie intake to create a calorie deficit, include more protein in your diet and be careful about carb and fat intake.

Let’s first understand what does exercise do for our body?

First of all, it will help you burn more calories and will thus speed up the weight loss process. Secondly, it will help to tone your muscles and build muscle mass. Apart from these, daily exercising helps to improve heart health, lifts mood and strengthen bones. Daily exercise also helps to boost energy.  Even in general, if you do not intend to lose weight, you must exercise every day for 30 to 40 minutes.

Although diet is paramount when it comes to shedding kilos, you must include some kind of physical activity in your routine. It is certainly not important that you need to start your gym routine, even simple running, yoga or walking can be helpful. It all depends on what you are comfortable with. The only thing which matters is your consistency. Besides, diet and exercises, your lifestyle habit and sleeping pattern also impact your weight loss or be healthy.

So, in a nutshell, healthy diet is much more responsible for your health than physical exercise.
